UITGESTALD-1. An artist's book that highlights the current and future artist generation of Limburg.

The result of the open call for UITGESTALD-1 is known. In addition to work by Koen Vanmechelen (godfather of this first edition of UITGESTALD), the professional jury, consisting of Alicja Melzacka (curator at CIAP, Genk), Kristof Reulens (curator Emile Van Dorenmuseum, Genk) and Hilde Borgermans (curator at Emergent, Veurne), selected artworks from 17 other amazing Limburg talents!

THE ARTISTS

Elise Berkvens; Lennert Berx; Manu Bloemen; Tim Caenepeel; Vincent Dankaerts; Tine Deboelpaep; Gommaar Gilliams; Vicky Gruyters; Joke Hansen; Gideon Kiefer; Steven Antonio Manes; Annebeth Nies; Superview Tv; Niels Vaes; Elia Vanderheyden; Stefaan Vermeulen; Kristof Vrancken.

The book, published in an edition of 101 copies, is a collection of 18 numbered and signed editions that can be easily removed from the book. All artists received a copy of UITGESTALD-1 themselves.
